Undergraduate Research Support Assistantships provide funds for faculty to employ an undergraduate in a research project which is completely separate from a course or course credit. A maximum of $400/semester may be requested. Applications for the 2009 fall semester URS program will open on 01 September and close on 02 October; applications for 2010 spring awards will open in 01 January and close on 04 March. The faculty research advisor should submit a short description of the project on this application page. The student should email a short statement of intent to be employed as a research statement.
