Current Research Project: I am interested in mass spectrometry based proteomics with an emphasis on stability based proteomics as a means to detect ligand protein interactions. I'm interested in the applications of stability based proteomics to drug discovery and how they can be used to accelerate the development of new therapeutics.

How he got involved with research: I had worked as an intern for two summers at a company that specialized in mass spec proteomics. Freshman fall I Flunched my general chemistry professor and he suggested that I reach out to my current PI and mentor, Dr. Michael Fitzgerald based off of my past experience and interest in mass spec. Following a few conversations over email, I began to attend group meetings in the spring of my freshman year and joined the lab as a member last semester.
