This year’s ACC Meeting of the Minds was set to take place from March 20-22, 2020, but was canceled due to public health concerns about the spread of COVID-19. Please click here to download a complete program, including student abstracts.

The Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Meeting of the Minds conference is held each spring and is hosted by one of the 15 ACC member schools. This year, it was set to be held here in North Carolina at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. It is funded in part by revenue from athletic events. The conference celebrates undergraduate research and provides an opportunity for sharing ideas and collaboration. Every spring, outstanding undergraduate researchers and a faculty mentor from all ACC universities are invited to present their original research. You can access the event website here.

Duke seniors, Ben Nativi, Gino Nuzzolillo, Isabel (Izzy) Shepard, D'amy Steward, and Carter Zenke were selected by Duke faculty and URS Director, Dr. Sarah Russell to present at this event. You can see their presentation titles and click to see abstracts below.

ACC member schools include: Boston College, Clemson University, Duke University, Florida State University, Georgia Tech, NC State University, Syracuse University, University of Louisville, University of Miami, University of North Carolina, University of Notre Dame, University of Pittsburgh, University of Virginia, Virginia Tech, and Wake Forest University.
