Current Research Project: My primary interest is in autism spectrum disorder research and I work with a lab in the Duke Center for Autism and Brain Development. I want to improve the diagnosis and care for this disorder. I am also a part of the Naumann Lab working on understanding innate behaviors. I am looking for ways to make behavioral connections between zebrafish circuits.

How they got involved with research: I emailed a couple of PIs and labs I was very interested in, and heard back from two of them. I set up a meeting and they were very enthusiastic about bringing me on board.
