Current Research Project: I'm interested in vaccines and immunotherapies. I currently work at an immunoengineering lab where we synthesize immunogenic peptides to treat a range of diseases, including inflammatory diseases, infectious diseases, cancer, etc. My project focuses on sepsis and tweaking the conformation of our peptides.
How he got involved with research: I started my lab search using Muser in my freshmen year. Later that year, I participated in the BSURF program, which provided me a good foundation of what research consisted of and helped me ultimately decide I wanted to continue doing this.
