Current Research Project: I am working on a collaboration between Dr. Mustafa Khasraw and Dr. Gerald Grant to deliver evolocumab, an immunotherapy to the glioblastoma through focused ultrasound-mediated blood-brain barrier disruption. I have been working on this project for a year and a half in a paid position, and am continuing this semester as an un-payed independent study. This project will become my senior thesis, and hopefully, a published paper. My interests are cancer biology, immunology, drug delivery, the brain-blood barrier, and neuroscience.
How he got involved with research: I always had wanted to do research at Duke, and I originally found my labs through the muser system. My current position was a stroke of luck, as a PI that I interviewed with through muser recommended me to a colleague
