Current Research Project: My current research projects include:

- Working in Dr. Liping Feng’s lab on studying the effects of PFOS-contaminated water on pregnant rats undergoing antiretroviral HIV drug therapy.

- Conducting my evolutionary anthropology senior thesis in Dr. Christine Drea’s lab on the effects of testerone and cortisol on parasites and behaviors in 2 species of lemurs from Madagascar .

- Collaborating with Dr. Stephanie Ibemere on developing and improving clinical decision support interventions to enhance sickle cell disease management for both providers and patients.

Together, these projects reflect my broader interests in understanding the intersections of biology, evolution, and public health to improve health outcomes across diverse populations.

How she got involved with research: I first became involved in research during my freshman year through Muser and the Research Scholars Program, which connected me to labs and mentors who guided my early projects. Since then, many of the research opportunities I have pursued have also been through Muser, allowing me to continuously expand my skills and interests across different disciplines.
