Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium
Event details: Thursday, April 16, 2026 | 2-6 p.m. | The Edge, Bostock Library
Our annual symposium is a celebration of ongoing research from across campus being conducted by our talented undergraduate students. Duke Community: We invite you to attend our annual symposium to show your support of our undergraduate researchers and get a sense of the vast research being done in Arts & Humanities, Social Sciences, and Natural & Quantitative Sciences here on our campus.
Summer Research Showcase
Event details: July 25, 2025 | 10:00 am - 12:00 p.m. | Great Hall, Mary Duke Biddle Trent Semans Center for Health Education
Student research at Duke doesn’t slow down over the summer! On July 25, students from summer programs across Duke will gather to share their research in natural sciences, health policy, medicine, engineering, and more. You're invited to stop by Trent Semans Great Hall from 10 am – 12 pm to show your support and get a sense of the vast research being done on campus this summer! All are welcome to attend. Light breakfast and beverage options will be provided.
Summer Research & Development Workshops
The URS Office is pleased to host weekly workshops in the summer to help students make the most of their research experiences on campus. Workshops include tips to effectively communicate with mentors, best practices for reading scientific papers, information on preparing an abstract/research poster, and more!
All Duke and non-Duke undergraduates are welcome to drop in. No registration is required to attend!
