The Duke Undergraduate Research Support Office is currently accepting applications for undergraduate students to attend the 2024 ACC Meeting of the Minds Conference and present their research in the form of oral presentations, poster presentations, or performances. This conference brings together undergraduates from the 15 Atlantic Coast Conference Schools to celebrate research and inquiry across disciplines. This year’s conference will be hosted by Notre Dame and will take place April 5-7, 2024 in South Bend, Indiana. For more information, see the conference host website: https://motm2024conference.nd.edu/
The Duke Undergraduate Research Support Office will be selecting five Duke students to attend and present their research. Attending students will also have the opportunity to network with peers and administrators from other ACC schools. Transportation, lodging, and meals will be provided. Note that participation in this conference will not be an excused absence from courses and accommodations for missed work will need to be worked out between the student and professor.
Interested students will need to fill out an application (PDF preview available below), upload an abstract (<250 words), and have their research mentor submit a letter of recommendation.
The application and abstract submission can be found at this link: https://duke.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_7PyPnfH6uv4murA and must be submitted by January 20th.
Students will be notified of acceptance by February 5th.
