Pronouns: she/her

Current research project: Currently, I work in the labs of Dr. Cagla Eroglu and Dr. Staci Bilbo studying neuroimmune interactions during development. My current research project focuses on the combined effect of prenatal exposure to air pollution and psychosocial stress on neurodevelopmental disorders. I am now working towards a Graduation with Distinction in Neuroscience for this work, and I hope to pursue an MD/PhD after graduation.

How she got involved with research:
I knew I wanted to do research in college, but I wasn't quite sure where to start and was too
intimidated by cold emailing. In the spring of my freshman year, I applied to the Biological
Undergraduate Research Fellowship, a previous version of SURF, where I requested and was
placed in the Bilbo lab. From there, I joined a collaboration project with the Eroglu and Bilbo
labs, where I have worked since. In my upperclass years, I also joined the Koeberl lab studying
glycogen storage disease type 1 in beagles, and the BASS Connections team "Living with Severe
Mental Illness: A Sensory Health Experience"
