The Alvarez Lab in the Department of Pharmacology and Cancer Biology is looking for an undergraduate researcher. The Alvarez lab studies the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying breast cancer dormancy, recurrence and metastasis. Specifically, we are looking for someone to contribute to a project centered on understanding the consequences of whole-genome duplication during tumor evolution. The project will involve tissue culture and molecular biology techniques. No previous laboratory experience is required. For more information, please contact Rachel Newcomb at rachel.newcomb@duke.edu
