The Department of Chemistry offers a limited number of summer undergraduate research fellowships for Duke chemistry majors who intend to pursue Graduation with Distinction. These fellowships allow majors to carry out chemistry research with Duke faculty over a 10-week period between late May and early August, and include a stipend of $4,000. Applicants are expected to have identified a research group in which to work and confirmed a place in that group for the summer.
